James is a native of Watkinsville, Georgia and a graduate of Covenant College (’07) and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (’16). Before going into ministry James worked as a financial analyst in the corporate world, but soon decided that cubicles and office politics were not for him. James served as a missionary to Belgium for two years with Mission to the World where he worked with local Belgian Christians as well as a congregation of Turkish immigrants. He and his wife Elizabeth have two sons and one daughter.

He enjoys photography, playing guitar, and new foods from all over the world. His biggest passion is telling people about Jesus Christ.
